I was looking for a USB plug for my Nuvi 2597. This product is inexpensive and has two ports. I have a battery charging cable just below my speedometer so I plug it in when I'm driving. It shows the voltage of your battery but I never paid attention to it. I installed it right next to the ignition key so whenever I put the key in the ignition I plug in the unit and when I turn the ignition off I unplug it. I carry a long iPhone charging cable in case I need to charge my phone. So far I haven't used it to charge my phone. I would give the product 5 stars but there is no room to stretch the zip tie to keep it securely in place. I just stick a block between the speedo and the ignition and it works great on my bike.
