As avocado has become an essential staple in my Kron diet, I was looking for a really good, easy-to-care-for packaging for my daily 1/2 leftover avocado. Immerse yourself in the singing of the angels (or did I just hear myself singing?). This capsule case from Joie is the answer. Yesterday I kept 1/2 avocado in the pod. And I checked today. Shazam! The avocado has lost little of its green colour, freshness or flavor. To be honest I'm so happy to find a solution that doesn't involve my attempts to salvage the beeswax wrap I was using. Talk about high service. Like many others, I want to use reusable, more responsible food storage solutions that I can and will use again and again. This little pod, my friends, is the keeper.
