Although the XPS 9370 is a beautiful notebook, its aluminum chassis is not scratch resistant and will occasionally be dented, scratched and bumped even with careful handling. Includes mCover case. What's not to like? It's very thin (about 1.5mm thick) and adds very little bulk. The laptop vents are aligned with the case vents so heat is not blocked. Last but not least, the laptop's ports are freely accessible for most accessories. I prefer the "transparent" version as it allows for much of the laptop's intended visual appeal. It's easy to click on (unlike other experiences, I found it easier to click the case on the back/hinge of the laptop first, and then on the front where the laptop's backlight is located). While I can connect external devices to the Thunderbolt/USB PD port with a USB-C cable, one of my devices has an integrated USB-C port and the device sits flush with the laptop. There is a tab on the case and a protective tab that prevents me from using this device by 1-2 millimeters (see photos for reference) but the tab does not make contact with the case so it is not a locking tab holds the case. Place. A quick trim with my trusty Dremel tool cleared the jam, and voila!, all is well. I wasn't expecting this case to protect the laptop from being dropped on the floor, but I imagine it can protect the laptop from many scratches and scrapes over time. One final minor quirk is that it only comes with 2 rubber feet, not 4. It's clear it's rated a 4 - because you can see the obvious round imprint left by the mold on the folding feet, for those this foot rubber thought is placed there.
