I am trying to be more environmentally friendly and would like to try bamboo brushes. Overall, the transition from the plastic counterpart went well and the bristles were relatively soft at first. I'm very used to the very soft bristles I get from the dentist so as not to irritate my gums too much when brushing. These bristles feel "soft" but after about a month of use they become stiffer and after about 2 months they wear out and just don't feel as gentle or do as thorough a cleaning job. I ended up throwing them away or reusing them for other purposes (dishwasher etc.). Overall it's a good choice for those who want to be more eco-friendly and I'll end up with the ones I have or just bought because the brushes go to the teeth, they work well. I only wish they had lasted at least 3 months before I feel like I have to pull a new one out of the box.
