Pros: It works I would suggest you learn a little about vehicle wiring etc before attempting the task. Cons: You have to hang it out of the trunk to plug it in. Having the power adapter plugged in is annoying, could have been better designed. Suggestions: Using heat shrink tubing after soldering the wires in place will greatly reduce future problems with shorts and/or corroded wires. A little extra effort pays off when you know it's all well done. Before you buy, match your wiring to the back of your car as if you already have it. At least you won't regret what you do.
