Bought to replace a broken OE balancer on my Pontiac G8 08 - a common problem with the L76 6.0L GT (belt whine and balancer wobbles noticeably during operation). Use a puller to remove the old part and I used the original TTY screw to put the new balancer in place. It is recommended to use the LS installer (it is just a M16 x 2.0 threaded rod with nut and washer). Don't forget to buy a new TTY screw as it is for single use only. I took ARP 2342503 because I want it to be reusable. If you tend to modify the engine (bolt on or more), consider switching to an aftermarket underdrive unit if you intend to change belts at the same time. A melody is usually required with this change.
