I bought this backpack because I went back to university last month. It fits my Macbook Pro 13 inch with no problems. The internal laptop pocket is nicely padded to protect it from impact with other items in the main body. Good quality fabric, not cheap. I like being able to charge my phone or tablet. Keep in mind that you will need to use your own or purchase an external battery pack separately. The straps are comfortable and well sewn. Zippers open and close smoothly. If I could change one feature, I would add a double zip to the front pocket instead of the single zip that already exists. But that's just a small problem I've encountered. Otherwise, I highly recommend this product.
