High-quality prints in a hurry with this stylish and easy-to-use printer

Recently received this mini260 as a gift. It was very easy and quick to set up and operate. Simply remove some plastic wrap and insert an ink cartridge, print out 2 alignment strips and you're done. Simply select the number of copies and click "Print" - done. You can choose between standard and high quality, but both looked great and were the same to me. With the standard you get a print in 20 or 30 seconds. A higher setting takes just under a minute. I started using it before I read the instructions, so at first I printed the same photo over and over again because it was the only copy I wanted to print. It won't print what you see on screen unless you select at least 1 copy of it. There will soon be a battery for this, but it is not yet available. I also couldn't find a printer carrying case and accessories made specifically for this printer (like HP's) so I just use a small laptop sleeve which is perfect for carrying the printer, power cord, extra paper and ink. The prints come out dry, look great and it was a lot of fun using this printer. I am very impressed and pleased with the quality of Canon cameras and printers. It just seems like they always work great with no issues. The Easy Printer Setup Guide contains a separate piece of paper with instructions on how to ensure that the ink cartridge is properly and securely seated in its slot. It's just something Canon wanted to add after printing the setup guide to make sure you're putting the cartridge in correctly. Another reviewer said this is very important, but it isn't. You will know if the ink is properly seated or not. I have a lot of Canon photo paper but I've tried another generic brand and the photos look just as good. So maybe this printer isn't very picky about the type of photo paper it uses. I know Kodak paper is great for printing photos on my Canon i550 printer. It's also a very quiet printer. Low noise when printing standard and high quality. The carrying handle that slides out of the unit is also very handy when transporting the printer from room to room.
