Good quality hose and fittings I have used for the past few months and have not had any issues other than the clear plastic elbow. It is designed so that an elbow must be used to connect to the drain pipe, but the elbow leaves almost no gap between the screw part and the area around the drain. For example, we recently stopped at a park with a slight incline around the sewer, but due to the design of the knee there was no play to screw the connector in. We had to go to a hardware store and buy an extension to make it work.
