These are beautiful sterling silver earrings. I can find a tiny pound stamp on them but it's too small for me so I have to believe they are in sterling. The smooth part of the ring is the front of the earring while the textured part is the back as you can see on the model. For me there are two downsides. I don't like anti-corrosion coating. This makes them too shiny and I love the patina that real silver creates. Occasional polishing doesn't hurt, if you wear them often less often than if they just lie in a jewelry box. My second minus is the shutter in the form of a blade. When I wear them for a long time the clasp seems to dig into my ear and I prefer the round wire shape. Maybe your ears aren't as weak as mine. There were no prices at the time of writing this review so I don't know if they will be a good price when they come back in stock but if two things I don't like don't bother you might like this quite a bit.
