I give this item 5 stars because it makes my cat so angry it makes me happy. He's not a small cat, and I can hear his tiny "FU" grunts as he paws at food. I will continue to enjoy this product until my cat takes my life while I am sleeping. In the meantime I watch, laugh and enjoy this feeder. Definitely recommend. Update September 2017: It's been a little over a year since I bought this product and all I can say is wow! Having to search for your food while burning a few extra calories made a world of difference. He can no longer just stick his face with his mouth open in the waiting bowl of chicken waste. He is happy again and purrs non-stop. His use of profanity while eating stopped after the 6th month. It was quite stressful before, I spent many sleepless nights waiting for him to finish me off, but I'm glad I made this purchase. It was worth every penny. While I can't guarantee you'll get the same results, you won't regret your purchase.
