Must be stronger.

I really wanted to love this product but my kitty doesn't really like paw food. He grabs the green part with his mouth, pulls and lets go, causing it to bounce and splatter cat food EVERYWHERE. Now he only weighs 4 pounds and it seems to me that when he gets a little bigger he will lose weight completely.

Great cat food!

My cat quickly figured out how to get food! This is a wonderful addition to my cat "enrichment" work. At first she was grumpy, just sitting and staring at the feeder, but soon she realized that she had to do something to get that food. At first she used a lot of her claws, getting caught in the holes in the levels and knocking the feeder over, so I had to put one side of the base under the edge of the wagon so she couldn't get it out, but now she doesn't need to be secured. since she barely…

Great fun for cat owners

I give this item 5 stars because it makes my cat so angry it makes me happy. He's not a small cat, and I can hear his tiny "FU" grunts as he paws at food. I will continue to enjoy this product until my cat takes my life while I am sleeping. In the meantime I watch, laugh and enjoy this feeder. Definitely recommend. Update September 2017: It's been a little over a year since I bought this product and all I can say is wow! Having to search for your food while burning a few extra calories made a…

Delicious entertainment for a human, wild meal for a cat!

A great find for overweight kittens and for those who just love tormenting their feline companion. This is the most fun I've had buying a pet in a long time. The extent of the suffering caused is astounding. At first the fat man wasn't impressed at all with this thing and just howled at it. Knowing that necessity is the mother of invention, we gave him time to understand. (*Previously, the piglet would just eat up his morning and evening rations and ask for more, and some jerk would relent and…

Saved us from scarf and puke!

I have tried many ways to stop my cat from vomiting after eating. Those slow-feeding silicone bowls, the ball she has to roll around to get her food (just got in her way while eating), even fed her from ice trays for a while. In a smooth transition, she changed her diet several times, but she still vomited about once a week. They say the best solution is to feed them small meals throughout the day, but no one has time for that. Sometimes I go somewhere for the night and need to leave enough…

Why didn't we buy this a few months ago!?

This is Aaron's girlfriend. It was worth every penny. I have a loud, constantly bored but food motivated cat. He's quite a big cat, but not fat. However, his sister is overweight, has trouble guarding food, and tends to choke on food, then throw up on the carpet, and then choke on more food. I was desperate because my hungry noisy cat howled all night, slammed the closet door and shook the bedroom door, but I didn't know how to give her more food so that the fat cat wouldn't eat all the…

But I would definitely buy it again.

I'm terribly smug. Now these cats have to work for the food just like the rest of us! That can amuse me more than my cat. I assembled it about half an hour ago. It consists of two parts - the base and the top, so it couldn't be simpler. Luna is a chunky dunk and she figured it out in a few minutes. I hope this helps her feel more stimulated, minimize boredom while eating, and lose weight! Update about 2 months later: I finally found the bug. The cat is too smart for her own good. The neck…

Can survive a pissed off, hungry 16 lb cat

My cat gave me a real look the first time I put food in it. "What do you think I should do with that?!" Then I got a pathetic "meow" from hunger and a pathetic lift of a paw. It is obvious that these (well soft) ribs become visible, demonstrating the hunger I am subjecting the 'neglected' cat to. Ha. After a day or so he gave up and is now happily scooping out a few pieces at a time. hehe. And the clatter of dry pieces has a calming effect in the background. The base is broad and stable, once…
