Review on 🐱 Catit Senses 2.0 Food Tree - Engaging Interactive Cat Toy for Feline Fun by Priscilla Webster

But I would definitely buy it again.

I'm terribly smug. Now these cats have to work for the food just like the rest of us! That can amuse me more than my cat. I assembled it about half an hour ago. It consists of two parts - the base and the top, so it couldn't be simpler. Luna is a chunky dunk and she figured it out in a few minutes. I hope this helps her feel more stimulated, minimize boredom while eating, and lose weight! Update about 2 months later: I finally found the bug. The cat is too smart for her own good. The neck between the base and the top has some advantages - she has learned that if she puts her paw in, pulls back and lets go, it breaks off and the food flies out in all directions. She's definitely eating more again, taking it all in at once and then acting nasty all day when she's bored/hungry until it's time to eat again. I tried putting the books on it but the books just slide off when she touches them. I've managed to balance the weight from above by attaching boards to the sides of my kitchen cart and stacking heavy items on top, but then I have to offload all the stuff from above and pull it out every time I feed it, which is twice daily. I considered taping the holes to make them much smaller, but the problem is that I have a second cat that isn't that smart. It's almost too much for her, but I think with smaller holes she would have hit a dead end. I'll report back when I've solved the problem.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • I won't say anything
