If you have an RV that requires 30 amps of electricity, you need it.

This will save you a lot of money on electrical repairs over time. It's better to damage this surge protector than your RV's electrical system. I use it as a first line of defense before plugging in the rest of the RV's power cords. This tells me if there is a problem with the electrical box in which park I am currently at. It's amazing how many parks have messed up their electrical boxes. This will save your RV from a fire. It also keeps very expensive surge protectors from burning out due to faulty wiring in parks. It's a fantastic first line of defense.
