This compressed towel is way better than I expected. The towel is larger and stiffer than expected. It's interesting to watch how it expands with very little water. I'm sure you can use any water that contains liquid. I haven't tried solvents and oil yet. If they don't stretch with oil I will stretch them with water and dry them. Soon they will be in my cars, tractors, ATVs, hunting curtains and bags. I'm sure they make great fire starters, both pelletized and expanded. I can't wait to experiment with them. I'll put some compressed pellets in my next bag of corn chips to see if they're highly flammable.
