Review on πŸ“ Inch Line Diffraction Grating Sheet by David Stewart

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Cool but with creases and jagged edges.

The diffraction grating works well, with clear diffraction spots along two axes. I cannot confirm the accuracy of the line count. The main problem is the wrong packaging. It is sandwiched between two sheets of very cheap copier paper (much less than 20#) (this requires at least a sheet or two of cardboard). As a result, he came with wrinkles and creases. In addition, the cutting edges are serrated and look as if they were cut by hand - like with safety scissors in elementary school. Finally, the backing material is very, very thin (<0.002 inch), like cellophane for Easter baskets. It is also very susceptible to static electricity and picks up a lot of dust - it can be cleaned. - You can find areas without creases and breaks if you don't plan to use the entire sheet in one application.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
