The egg cooks from the bottom up so when the top is done, the egg is burnt on the bottom. Must clean after every use because some of the residual egg will not let the mold sit flat in the skillet. And if you use large eggs, well - overflow. However, I used it to make hamburgers and salmon cakes. I may find it for other purposes. So, I find this product useful.

This may have been somewhere in the product details but, I didn’t read much before buying. Rub some oil around the inside of the ring before adding your eggs. Whatever oil and butter you have in the pan won’t really help keeping eggs from sticking. Other than that it makes a perfect size and shaped egg for an English muffin.

These are nice rings and easy to use and clean. Although the nonstick coating could be better. Looking forward to using them again. 4.5 stars

Make sure to place the egg rings in a flat bottomed pan, and let the rings heat with the pan before pouring. Love these egg rings! I did need to grease them a little to keep them from sticking. They also need to soak a bit when washing. No big deal. They are well made and worth the low price!

I like that they do make a nice poached egg, but I do have to either use a cooking spray or butter to keep them from sticking and then many times they still stick to the egg. Have to use a knife to remove the egg from the ring.

There is a lot of prep in order to use these. Make sure the pan is perfectly flat, heat the rings in hot water for 20 minutes, grease the rings, then do the eggs.

Honest review: This is my first time using the product & i wish I had gotten these for free but I paid $11.95 & did not disappoint. Some negative reviews here have issues with the ring not staying flat on the pan and liquid leaks out. Some have issues with food sticking on the inside of the ring. Cooking with them - they’re a little light so when I pour egg whites in I use the turner to hold the rings down. The egg whites heat up and then seals and you can let go. Voila! Little round egg white samwiches!Cleanup- I’ve tried buttering or oiling before cooking. Nope. Egg whites stick to them reaaaaaaaaaal bad. I use a wood spoon to scrape the egg off then scrub.

UPDATE: was very pleased and impressed when the company reached out following my review. They sent me improved rings with stronger welds and slightly different construction. As you can see from the photos, the piece attached to the ring now matches the radius of the ring providing more surface contact. And the welds are not little spot dots, but longer more secure welds. I got these back in Mid-July. They are very well made and easy to use BUT, I can not keep the eggs from sticking to the ring no matter what I try. After that, I was contacted by the seller (without my even asking) offering me a replacement or a refund. These egg rings work like a dream. I used them to make pancakes and eggs for egg sandwiches. Putting oil on the ring and in the pan will stop eggs from leaking under the ring. Preheating both the pan and rings aids in cooking, as will putting a lid on the pan. My only caution is the little handle may get hot. The rings clean up quickly with soap and water.

I really wanted to love it but sometimes when I crack an egg it just leaks through the bottom and I don’t get my perfect round egg :(UPDATED 8/8/22 they sent me a second one and seems to be working fine as long as I heat it and slowly put the egg inside. Thank you for keeping your costumers happy!

Great ring especially if you are cooking for kids they would love it however if you forget to grease the inner ring part your eggs will stick even if you have greased the pan.
