I was hesitant to purchase this as some reviews said 'ruffles' were lost on their large king size beds - I'm happy to report that I didn't see it as a problem at all. I also had no problem attaching this to my already made Cali-King Sleep Number (Select Comfort) bed - I simply started at the head of the bed and placed the elastic under the mattress on one side, then moved on to the other side. and peeled it off from all sides. I lifted the comforter and sheets and draped them over the bed while I attached the ruffle so I didn't have to take the bed apart and then remake it. I found it just as easy to put on as a fitted sheet (basically the same principle). The fabric is nice - not too heavy, not too light - and lays nicely around the bed. yes, in full uniform! I did find that the elastic was a bit loose midway between the edges (where it wraps around the corners), but I just tucked the elastic between the springs and the mattress and there was no more slack. problems. The skirt held up well to washing (delicate wash in cold water, gentle tumble dry low) and didn't wrinkle when I put it on. I am so happy with this skirt that I intend to purchase more different colors to match my multicolored quilts. Highly recommended!
