Updated Review: Below is my first review where I received a damaged item. The company has now confirmed my satisfaction. When they heard about my experience they wanted to fix it; and they did. I am satisfied with the service and the fact that they stand by their product and care about the customers above all. The new item I received was in brand new condition and seems to be working fine. I just tested it, haven't really used it yet. Updated my rating from 1 to 4. First rating: Product arrived defective. The foam padding was about half peeled off (where my finger is in the second photo). I've been trying to put it back in place, that's the only reason it's sunken so low. There was a little dirt or markings on the rest of the product, which wasn't a big deal but definitely indicated that it wasn't a new item. The remote control is SUPER cheap and has weak buttons. It works, but I wouldn't be surprised if the button jumps fairly quickly. I was between two similar products. It was about $10-12 cheaper so I was trying to save some money. I think you get what you pay for. I do not recommend this. Spend the extra money on a competitor's tripod.
