I have a peripheral neuropathy that causes some numbness in my lower right foot due to complications after spinal surgery. I was hoping these mats would help me regain some of my senses and proprioception. Unfortunately, I have found that the bumps and textures of the mats are quite high, which irritates the back of the heel. Also, my leg was cramping rather than feeling more relaxed. I will no longer use carpets. Others may have a different experience but I wanted to share my opinion on this product. I found the attached video helpful and for the overall price and quality of all items it ended up being a pretty good deal.
