I got this car stand because it's still not safe to eat in public places. I take food and eat it in a nearby parking lot so I can enjoy it while it's still warm. I figured this table would take less of the juggling and balancing of food in the car. I regularly create and use builds like this or even more complex ones. It is not possible to place this table in a comfortable position while sitting on the seat. I haven't tried outside the car, I don't want to get out. I tried every possible position for pivot points as well as sliding joints. Bad luck. I do not recommend this table.
