This is the best device of this type I have ever bought (tried 3 times). I use it for a Kodi type app so I can't talk about YouTube, Netflix, etc. Other devices of this type don't find the movies I'm copying into the movie database (gives me an error it can't connect to it) - this worked great. It's also the fastest I've used so far. Plugged into a WD Elements USB 3.0 drive with MP4 files I ripped from my DVDs and used in the RV with no problem. Comes with a remote keyboard (sometimes you absolutely need it so you don't pull your hair out searching or typing other text options) which, contrary to the reviews, has a blue backlight and also requires rechargeable batteries and chargers on the remote keyboard over the micro-USB connector (contrary to the reviews) on the front - opposite the switch. However, it does NOT come with a micro USB cable. But with all the devices currently shipped with it - who doesn't have one, let alone a spare part?! You also get a portable remote control that you'll use most of the time to skip through movies and/or music.
