! If they're gold plated, the plating must be very thin, but I don't think it's real. My daughter got them for Christmas and now she is allergic to metal. She has not had an allergic reaction to any other earrings she has ever worn and has had her ears pierced for over 4.5 years. I can't return them now as it's 1/19. But if I could I would do it with all the secretions and blood stuck to them so they could see what their cheap fake earrings did to my dear girl's ears!
