Review on πŸ“· OLYMPUS OM-D E-M5 Mark II (Black): Ultimate Performance in a Sleek Body by Iseul Chang ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product did not cause delight, but you can use it.

I compare it with OMD-10, which is a class lower and almost three times cheaper. The M-2 is slightly larger and more grippy, but the control is almost the same as that of a dozen, with the same pluses and minuses. In terms of AF speed and image quality, the cameras are identical. Tracking AF - conditionally working. Dust-moisture protection is in doubt - there are no seals on any cover. Working with video is a separate song. During recording, the parameters can only be controlled through a special menu, which must be called after each rack-stop. When using an external microphone, its jack overlaps the tilted monitor, since it opens to the side where all the connectors are. In this case, the open cover prevents the monitor from turning. AF on the video scours even in static scenes, in excellent lighting. My opinion - for a "home" photo you can just as well take OMD-10, the difference is only in a slightly better stub and the presence of 1/8000 in M2.
