We have ordered this model many times. My boys have XW shoes which are very hard to find. This style is fairly easy to do, except that the velcro on the new model is very strong, making it almost impossible for a child to untie and re-do it yourself. The older model has double velcro without the N logo. They work much better than this model. Even my 8 year old found it very difficult to deal with. The black piece at the tips of the toes comes off very easily, we have to keep gluing it on. This is a great pair of shoes to try on. However, the old model is better processed than the current ones. Still, they last longer than some other brands that we've had enough of. I hope it comes in bigger sizes and more models in a very wide style for boys. It's still a good buy.
