My son is 11 to 11.5 and I ordered 13. They are just perfect in length, not much room to grow although they are quite sloppy in width but I expected them to tug on the boot. Also, the red is definitely more raspberry red (with a hint of pink) than cherry red. My 4 year old son noticed it immediately. I don't know how well they will wear (about the same as the pair we bought at Wal-Mart I think). They are cute and I think I might order another pair in a different color when he outgrows them.
