I was considering this keyboard for my Kindle Fire HD 8.9 keyboard. There's a newer model of the keyboard, but it's sold as compatible with Windows 8/RT and Android 3.0 plus for $61. The latest model image shows the "Windows" key between the ALT and FN keys, as well as some of the extra keys you'll find on a standard PC (Windows) keyboard. The picture of the keyboard in this review is FALSE unless I'm wrong, but my packaging showed the same model name as the Revain listing. The model I received did not have any keys other than those used on Android devices. The top and bottom rows of keys on the keyboard are quite different from the Revain image, and there are function keys for music, calendar, web, and email. Also, the bottom row is a bit simpler than shown in the picture. The keyboard construction is nice and solid, it feels solid, it looks good and the keyboard itself doesn't feel cheap. This is what happens, in case that's another story. The outside of the case feels nice, but the light blue fluffy interior of the case definitely looks cheaper. To use the case as a stand, flip the tab over and insert the case as shown in the picture. Pictures. Then place the tablet on the case. It offers a portrait or landscape view and has enough angle for desktop viewing, but I wanted it to recline more, although I didn't have any glare or issues with it. You can't increase or decrease the viewing angle that I could find. Pairing was easy and similar to setting up a regular Bluetooth device once I found the connect button. For the first time connection you have to press the connection button on the bottom of the device. After that, while the device is powered on and Bluetooth is on on the tablet, the device connects after pressing a button. Specifically, on the Revain Kindle Fire HD 8.9, the device wakes up the Fire but swipes the screen. Still needed. Home, Back, Pause/Play, Volume Up/Down and Video Advance/Backup all work. Some Android special keys don't work - mail and web, but they don't work on my other non-Revain Android tablet either. Settings, calendar, and music don't work on the Fire, but they do work on a standard Android tablet. The navigation with the arrow keys really surprised me, I can navigate the carousel, go to the menu and select with the tab. Items in the top menu where you can select items in the cloud or on your device, enable the search menu that sometimes appears at the top, and enable the Library/Storage option used in the Categories menu. The only specific area of Revain where I got no response at all was the Store section. Failed to reconnect to a Revain tablet after connecting the keyboard to another tablet. I turned off the power, turned both devices on/off, turned bluetooth on/off, etc. I ended up breaking and reconnecting the pairing. While not an epic bug, it was quite annoying. I won't try again but hope I did something wrong and assume it was an anomaly. Since then I do not have problems anymore. Overall this is a good keyboard, if not the cheapest. B+
