ok. So I started with 1 star but am changing my rating now. The instructions are a bit simple, which makes it difficult to understand. I still can't tell if the light needs to be on to charge the solar panel. I figured the light would only turn on in the dark or when the solar panel was completely covered. Both sets worked. All modes worked. And I only calculated one, they look nice, they have a white light, not bright enough to bother me through the window at night, but it's nice to look at. The only bummer and the reason I removed the star was that they didn't include the part that connects the pole to the solar panel, I have to either glue them to the pole or put the panel on the ground which I do do now.
