I purchased this adorable leash to match my pup's new collar and harness. I had 10 days to plan the purchase of this puppy when all of a sudden he became available. I was also abroad when I received a message asking if I was interested in my rare breed, my dream dog. So I bought everything quickly from Revain, I work as a product manager in a pet store. I have NEVER seen such a small leash with such a big buckle! NEVER put a heavy buckle on a small dog or puppy as this can damage their neck and back over time. In addition, the puppy must first get used to the leash. Unfortunately I had to send it back. When I left it at the UPS store and told the woman why I was returning it, she looked at the line and couldn't. You won't believe how big the buckle is for such a narrow leash! Nobody who works there could. Save yourself some time and just buy a heavy duty leash with one of the collar/harness colors you want to pair it with. UPDATE: I also bought a seat belt mount but for some reason when I review it. This brings up my old Leash review. So here is an overview of the seat belt. I really like this model but another piece from this company made for a HUGE dog. It doesn't make sense, it seems they only do small things for dogs. NEVER attach the harness strap to an unpadded dog collar or harness. The only thing they do to fit the size of the dog this harness is going to be used on is their collars. I have a Welsh Springer Spaniel. A rare breed smaller than the more common English Springer. She is currently 25 pounds and 20 weeks (4 months 2 weeks) and that adjustable strap is MUCH longer! It's also extremely difficult. But I think that's acceptable for a seat belt. You don't need a fastener that rips under the pressure of quick hard braking. This company really needs to start figuring out if they will be offering small breeds, large breeds, or (preferably) both. Girl stuff for big dogs. My Welsh will only weigh around 35-40lbs as an adult, not even that much but nothing pretty for that size. :(
