I had a big scratch on the hood of my truck. The one that the touch up paint couldn't hide. I pulled up a strip on the hood to cover it. The high-gloss black metallic performed very well and harmonized almost perfectly with the high-gloss black pearl finish (RAM'S OEM PAINT). $15 for vinyl wrap is a lot better than $500 for new paint. Overall I was pleased with the results as I am new to vinyl wrap. It's shrunk a bit and wasn't very forgiving on a hot, sunny bonnet, and when recycled it can retard, but it's fairly easy to wrap and patch.
