After four uses I am very satisfied with this camera system. The transmitter works very well. I've only used it at 600 yards and didn't need a receiver at that range, although just tried it to see if it worked. The software works on my Galaxy S7, unlike the Caldwell Chrono software. I have not attempted to use any software to measure group size. The camera is good, but not outstanding. On my first outing I was too far off target and the clarity wasn't good enough to see holes very well, almost impossible when missing a reactive target. I've brought the camera closer and also put a white garbage bag behind the target to reflect the light and it works very well. I can see every picture without any problems, just had to learn how best to set the camera. The fourth time, the clamp that holds the camera to the tripod broke at the pivot point (see image). I called Caldwell and they said it was rare and they would send one out right away. Luckily I had a wooden clip so I could improvise. For a 2 hour one way trip this would be a huge waste of time. Although the threaded tips of tripods come with caps, one of them has been slightly modified. The transmitter still spins, just with a little extra effort. The rest of the tripods are very good. I used it in very strong winds and the camera hardly moved (the flex jack function works well/stable). Overall I'm very happy with the system, surprised at how well the transmitter works and would recommend considering it. system.Edit: The replacement clip came just days after I called Caldwell. I also added a target image that I created with the app. This is what you see when you look at the app on your phone. Edit 05/13/19: The replacement clip broke in the same place as the first one. I take good care of my equipment. Caldwell has good customer service so I will ask for a replacement but also try to find a better solution.
