Review on 🍚 Premium Elvissmart Himalayan White Basmati Rice - Naturally Aged, Double Polished - 10 Pound Bag by Oliver Waiker

Let's start with a serious problem. The bag is thin. So thin (closer to cling film but weaker at the seams) that *both* 10 pound bags I ordered burst and about a quarter of the rice spilled out. I restored what hadn't flowed out of the rice and was a bit disappointed with the rice itself. i love rice I have over 10 types of rice, three of which are basmati. And that. Just not my favorite. Good. It turns out a very beautiful long grain. The texture is great and the taste of the rice itself is good. Poorly. Aside from being very expensive, rice also has a "fragrant" smell. Spring. moldy? Dusty? I can't pinpoint it exactly, but it tastes like cilantro to me. Some old dusty and soapy. Rice doesn't taste bad at all, but since the smell makes up most of the flavor, it detracts from the overall impression. Note: My husband loves cilantro and doesn't find the smell musty, but does notice a distinct aroma. However, with a rather high price, I find it difficult to recommend this rice when many people find that the smell affects the taste.
