Review on JINSHI Men's Lightweight Quick-Dry Hiking Cargo Pants with Waterproof Multifunctional Pocket - Fashionable and Casual Pants by Mario Newton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Perfect if you're on the shorter side!

I took these on a couple 5km rucks to see how they would hold up. First, they feel great on, the spandex is form fitting without being stuck to you, and offers free range of motion. The front pockets are canted a little differently to offer a vertical pocket, but large enough to hold a large smartphone with no issues. They're not cloth, so not that breathable, but after sweating in them, found that there was just the right amount of breath-ability and protection from the wind. They are super comfortable, enough that you forget they're on!The one downside? They're short for me! I thought that reading in the sizing chart that I would be ok, but I wear my pants low and a 32 length, and the hem of the pant was still above my ankle bones by a bit. If you pay attention to the shot of the guy with the walking stick pictured beside the size chart, you'll see how the pant leg rides. For some, this is no issue, and on flat ground, totally dealable. When I started going on an incline it felt my ankles were exposed. I did another ruck with some long socks on to see if that would make the difference and it does, so if you're going to wear these anywhere off trail and are a 32 would definitely recommend wearing long socks.
