Amazing little shoes! Our friends return to the east, to the cold land, every year for Christmas. I bought them for my little boy who likes to play snowballs. A high top holds a lot of snow and gets wet compared to regular shoes. Velcro fasteners are very durable and make it easier to put on and take off the shoes. Nicely padded inside. The bottom of the outsole has deep grooves for excellent traction. Also, each shoe has a metal plate with small "teeth" or "teeth" on the sole and heel. You simply lift it up to generate even more traction and grip. They are excellent for dense snow that is also icy. They are not only functional but also beautiful! Highly Recommended!
