Worked fine for me. with a small flaw

Purchased to reposition the wiper arms after replacing the windshield. I chose this particular model over more traditional types of pullers due to the limited clearance to the lever on the driver's side of my car (Audi A3 8V). The tool fitted the wiper arms perfectly and worked well, and I adjusted both arms in less than 10 minutes with just one snag: the little plastic knob is probably the worst design for getting enough torque to pry the arm off the wedges (especially for a man over 50); A…

Huge time saver and frustration

I have an old car. Driver side wiper arm worn out. The lever teeth are aluminum so they grind to protect the steel post and motor. Therefore, the cheapest and easiest way to replace a hand is to throw it in a landfill. I've never been there, it was a great experience. Either way. I made sure I ordered this product ahead of a weekend trip to the junkyard. I found a replacement wiper arm on a wrecked car. I unscrewed the strut bolt with an 18V impact wrench, put this awesome little tool on the…

maybe nice, but not for me.

2003 caravan. The device could work, but it wasn't deep enough/big enough. The pins fit under the wiper arm, but even at maximum indentation, the end of the bolt was not properly contacting the shaft on the wiper assembly. He slipped sideways off the shaft. I was afraid to hold it very tight because if the unit was subjected to a little stress and it slipped off the wiper shaft, it could strip the threads on the shaft. The device is also not designed for jammed wiper arms. Even when trying to…

Rubbish, breaks easily when the wipers are jammed

Terrible product. When tightening, the screw-in pin kept wanting to slip off the wiper rod. I had to put a nut on the bolt and raise the nut slightly higher than the wiper strut. This caused the tool to press against the pin while I attempted to tighten it by hand. Failed to loosen the wiper by rotating the tool by hand. I had to use the channel lock on the handle to finally get the wiper off the spline. After that, the metal tip of the tool broke off and the grub screw of the tool broke. I had

Ideal for AUDI: Windshield Cleaning Tools

I have a 2005 Audi Quattro and had to remove the wipers to clean the air chamber. Unfortunately, most of these tools are too tall to fit under the wiper closest to the hood hinge. I dared and it worked great. A few tips: 1. Use the wiper nut to guide and lock the tool bolt into the top of the wiper bolt. Without removing it completely, loosen the nut as much as possible, leaving a thread. Without removing the nut, center the tool bolt in it. this prevents slipping off the threaded rod.2. Use…
