Terrible product. When tightening, the screw-in pin kept wanting to slip off the wiper rod. I had to put a nut on the bolt and raise the nut slightly higher than the wiper strut. This caused the tool to press against the pin while I attempted to tighten it by hand. Failed to loosen the wiper by rotating the tool by hand. I had to use the channel lock on the handle to finally get the wiper off the spline. After that, the metal tip of the tool broke off and the grub screw of the tool broke. I had to spend 30 minutes sharpening a broken tip so I could use the tool on a different lever. When using it on another wiper arm, the plastic tension knob broke off. So I had to use a vise and clamp high on the tool's grub screw so I could use it to force the other wiper arm off the splines. The tool is garbage. This can be normal when attempting to detach the wiper arms from a new car, but do not use wiper arms that have been stuck for a while.
