I have an old car. Driver side wiper arm worn out. The lever teeth are aluminum so they grind to protect the steel post and motor. Therefore, the cheapest and easiest way to replace a hand is to throw it in a landfill. I've never been there, it was a great experience. Either way. I made sure I ordered this product ahead of a weekend trip to the junkyard. I found a replacement wiper arm on a wrecked car. I unscrewed the strut bolt with an 18V impact wrench, put this awesome little tool on the armrest, and then turned the wheel. A few curves later, POP! The hand came loose from the pole. Came home in my own car, same procedure. Easy easy. I may never use this tool again in my life. But I'm very glad I bought it and turned what was a terrible job into a very easy job.
