The tool is absolutely useless if the clutch is in a fixed position and most of them are. If you need to hold the clutch on a workbench, you don't even need this tool because you can use almost anything on a workbench to keep the clutch from turning when the bolt is loosened. The tool could have been of great value if its designer had designed it so that you could use a standard length socket wrench in combination with the tool. In other words, when the tool is in position to hold the clutch, the standard length head cannot reach the cap screw for you to unscrew it. The long socket is too long and will interfere with the vehicle frame or other obstacles. Stupid Stupid Design.
