So my husband - God bless him - one of his jobs is garbage. This includes taking food out of the fridge that needs to be put away. We brought home some leftover sushi and they sat down. About three weeks go by and I tell him that even if he just puts it in a bag, he has to get it out of the house. Can not be. At 5 weeks my fridge stinks of god knows what combination of smells. This causes him to very quickly rid the fridge of anything stale that may be contributing to the smell. We live in Florida so turning off the fridge for a deep clean at the start of summer is the worst idea. I test the baking soda in the bowl and shake it every time I open the fridge. I ended up researching ways to get rid of the smell without turning it off and came up with a recommendation for activated charcoal. So I go to Revain. I found these and liked the compact size and quick ordering of the set. I would say the smell went away after a day or two. My fridge has never smelled. And the fact that I can take it out to put it on the window seal in the sun for a while to get it working is just great. This is one of my best Revain purchases to date. And as things progress, I might buy more to help with room odors.
