I purchased these lights to replace other solar lights that were mounted on my fence posts. The other lights kept going bad, and I had to keep replacing them. So, I decided to give these lights a try, and am I glad I did! I mounted these lights the same way as I had the previous lights mounted. With heavy duty outdoor velcro. (Pics attached). I replaced all 10 lights with these new ones. I have them set to mode #2. They come on at dusk dimly lit, and stay on all night till dawn, unless they sense movement, in which case they jump to bright mode, and stay that way till motion stops. Then they return to the dimly lit mode. They lit up at dusk (5:00pm), and stayed lit until dawn (7:00am). I tested them during the night, and as I walked by each light, they went from dim to bright perfectly in order as I walked by. And, then they returned to the dim mode, also in perfect order. These lights are surprisingly bright when activated, and even light up my neighbors yards behind my house. I must say, I am pleasantly surprised on how bright these lights are, and how well they function. As far as durability, only time will tell. As for now, I am 100% satisfied, and I think you would be too!
