I'm NOT dissatisfied with the purchase, but I'm also a realist. Ours does NOT look "fluffy" and the ruffle is very subtle. I love it and I guessed it was when I ordered and luckily I was right. There are ruffles, they're just rather flat in appearance. I thought they might puff up over time from washing if they shrink, but that hasn't happened. It's been over 6 months and it still looks very thin. I prefer this when it comes to pink and ruffles. In my book, it's also pretty easy. This is for my daughter and she prefers not to sleep with it, preferring to sleep with a thicker duvet, so it's really just a bedspread. She actually sleeps with a homemade feather tick, which is very convenient. You can use it as a sleeping blanket in cold weather when you sleep hot, or put another layer underneath or on top. In itself it is not very warm. Overall it's ok for what I need. My daughter seems to like the look (but she's 4 so that's not saying anything yet) and it's holding up great (although admittedly not used before bed and usually kept clean since she's not in her own room) a lot and infrequently to the bed). I would order it again if I had to repeat it. It suits our needs well.
