Unreliable for headlight taillight combos

I bought these lights earlier this summer and loved the ease of installation but half of them needed new batteries because they wouldn't work when I tried turning them on . We haven't had many (if any) overnight bike rides since I bought it, but we did one last night. There were four of us. 2 people had a working rear light, 2 people had a working front light. 4 out of 8 lightbulbs did not work. bad indicator. The lights that worked were bright enough for other people to see, but the headlights aren't bright enough to illuminate where you're going, just the ground just a tiny bit in front of you.
