Review on 💡 Satco S6596 FC552C Soft White Fluorescent Lamp by Austin Arvayo

The original bulb for this ceiling light is no longer available from Home Depot or Lowes. So I desperately decided to try this one even though the reviews said they couldn't get it to work because the connector on the original bulb is at a 45 degree angle and this one isn't. I prayed my plug would have enough cable slack for it to work. As it turned out, the cord was long enough to pull out and plug into the lightbulb, but then the plug was so thick that the lightbulb couldn't fit into the metal clips to hold it in place. I gave up and was about to box the bulb up for a return when I decided to check the reviews again. THANKS TO THE USER WHO POSTED THE PHOTO OF THE LAMP! I tried this and it worked like a charm! Now I don't know how long the bulb will last, but for now I'm just glad I don't have to call an electrician to install a new lamp. However, the LED is the way to go and I will eventually update it.
