I liked these tights as soon as I started wearing them. then I hit the middle of my thigh. After lots of unflattering moves and jumps to get them on my butt, they slipped like a dream and fit like gloves. Comfortable, very flexible, great fit around the waist (for the record, I'm a size 14 and bought a size 32 like all my other breeches). A little looser at the bottom of the leg than I expected but that wasn't the deciding factor. Then I sat down. Unfortunately I have a fairly short waist so they ended up in an uncomfortable spot and as soon as I sat down the front of the belt rolled down. I don't think it would be a problem if the front and back were either soft like the front or stiffer like the back, but it just didn't work for me. I really like the wide belt. although. If I could do it with a zipper and the same belt as on the back, I'd be like white on rice. not your style. In general, I really liked the tights, they just didn't suit me.
