Perfect little gift for what it is

I've waited a bit to review and while we haven't used the drone extensively we have used it sporadically for a few months. . My little kid is very hard to impress but loves this drone. It's not a high-end remote control toy, so it's not as durable or as accurate as a more sophisticated (and expensive) drone. He does what he has to do and does it well. One charge is enough for several minutes of dedicated gaming, which is quite enough for us. The noise is high and can get annoying after a few minutes and can be heard in the next room through the thin door, but it's not too bad. (I have very sensitive hearing and can play with it.) The response time of the sensors can be up to a second, so you have to be patient. It takes some practice to get the gestures right and he still doesn't always obey, but often enough that we enjoy it. (Again, this isn't a high-tech toy.) He's also got a mind of his own sometimes, which he sees as an obstacle, so the auto-shut off feature if tilted too far is crucial. It didn't damage or damage anything and was even able to penetrate my long hair at one point without having too much trouble detangling it. I would recommend them for toys of this type. If you want longer play or more accuracy then you won't get that from toys in this range and you should look for higher quality drones. My son just wanted a fun toy that we can use around the house and this has been one of the most popular gifts he has received in the last year.
