Simple but effective device for demonstrating Lenz's law using eddy currents induced in the wall of a copper tube by a falling magnet. It consists of a 12-inches long copper tube and two apparently identical metal slugs with rubber end caps. One slug is plain steel and falls through the copper tube quickly. The other slug is a strong neodymium magnet that falls very slowly through the tube due to the braking effect of eddy currents. Item includes tube end caps for storing the slugs in the tube and an activity guide.

Amazing Demonstrator for Magnetism Education

As an Industrial and Scientific enthusiast, I highly recommend this magnetism kit for Science Education. As a result of using this product, I found that it is an amazing demonstrator of eddy current and magnetic field phenomena. The components are of excellent quality and provide clear and concise demonstrations. The only downside is that the setup process is a bit time-consuming. However, once set up the kit provides an exceptional learning experience. Overall, it is a great investment for any

Good product but there are better things in my opinion

This is a great product for depicting streams of eggs, but there are many other ways that I think are much cooler such as: B. a copper biscuit on which you glue a magnet.

Not at all happy with it.

The product works but it is not what is shown in the photo. The magnet and metal rod are smaller and not closed at all. There were no end caps holding the magnet and connector in the tube. The tube itself looks smaller than in the photo.
