Disappointing Best with firewire cables
This cable will not connect my mini DV camera to my laptop. 6 years ago I successfully converted most of my mini DV tapes to digital format by connecting the camera directly to my laptop. With the same camera and the same laptop and with this cable it didn't work. The camera never recognized the recording. I can only assume that it is the cable.
