Strong and useful

Love these. I use them on cords around the house, both in use and in storage. They feature fluffy hook and loop material along the length on one side and hooks per inch at the bottom on the other side. I just wrap them tightly around the cord until the hook material is in place. It's not a difficult concept. If velcro hooks ran the full length of the other side it would probably be very difficult to remove the tie if needed. They keep snapping when I need to lengthen or shorten the cord. For example my iPod dock: sometimes when I'm cooking I put it on the kitchen table next to a socket and shorten the cable with a cable tie. Sometimes I take it into the room when I work and take off my tie to unplug the cord. I've never had a problem despite all the winding and unwinding of the cables. I have more electronic devices with cables, so I'm ordering another set. I don't think you will be disappointed if you buy them. They make my life much more orderly and less confusing.
