Love these. I use them on cords around the house, both in use and in storage. They feature fluffy hook and loop material along the length on one side and hooks per inch at the bottom on the other side. I just wrap them tightly around the cord until the hook material is in place. It's not a difficult concept. If velcro hooks ran the full length of the other side it would probably be very difficult to remove the tie if needed. They keep snapping when I need to lengthen or shorten the cord. For…

I have used these hook and loop tapes and similar hook and loop tapes from other manufacturers for several years to secure cables for computer systems, networking systems and entertainment systems around my home. Before I discovered Velcro cable ties, I used plastic cable ties where you thread one end through a hole in the other end, pull it all the way down, and cut off the "tail". What I didn't like about plastic zip ties, however, is that they cannot be reused and must be cut open to remove.
