Revainrating 5 out of 5

seamless switch from plastic

These bags are almost exactly like the plastic ones, only the feel is a bit different. It feels less slick and staticky than plastic, and more matte and smooth. Point is, you can definitely tell they’re made of different stuff than the plastic ones, but utility-wise, they’re the same sturdiness and utility as their plastic counterparts. It’s an easy and seamless switch. I honestly don’t find they’re any more or less resistant to tearing than regular plastic; they’re pretty much the same. Haven’t tested their biodegradability myself since I live in an apartment and have nowhere to put compost, but it does provide some peace of mind to know they won’t be around forever.

Pros
  • Sturdy and easy to separate. Eco friendly too.
Cons
  • The bags may tear easily if tugged on by pets or children

These bags work great. I especially like how they say they are compostable. Many other bags say that they are eco-friendly, but don''t actually specify how they are. The bags hold together well and each bag tears off the roll nicely.
